On March 18, the delegation of Charlotte led by Mayor Jennifer Roberts visited the high-tech mass entrepreneurship and innovation Zhong Guan Cun base at Nanning. Wei Zuo, Deputy Director of Nanning High-tech and Qiang Guo, the base Chief Operating Officer showed the delegation around.

Mr. Guo gave a detailed introduction of the innovative products developed and commercialized by the companies from the high-tech zone. The delegation also visited Google Adwords at the Guangxi Experience center.

Charlotte is a sister city of Nanning. During the three-day stay in Nanning, the Charlotte Delegation mainly explored and learnt from Nanning about how the city is developing itself in terms of Smart City, “China Green City” and Modern Transportation Construction. Both counterparts also discussed about the possibility of mutual investment and cooperation in areas such as finance, city construction, bio-medicine, and electrical information technology.
