A Golf Tournament for Allegro Foundation sponsored and organized by Carolinas Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Carolinas Chinese American Civic Center was held on May 21, 2018 at the Cramer Mountain Club, Charlotte, to raise money for children with disabilities in Charlotte, to help Allegro Foundation exercise a stronger influence over Asian community, and to provide a bridge for the foundation to extend its caring services to Asian families in need.

A total of 11 teams participated in the Golf charity invitational. Individuals from all kinds of companies participated  with a warm and caring heart. After a 4-hour long heated battle, the winners are the team headed by Karen Shi with Haley Lee, Rodney B and Benny Bowes as members, four Close Pin winners, and three longest drive winners.

The total number of money raised is more than $10,000, which can provide one semester of extracurricular activities for about 30 disabled children. We express our special thanks to all sponsors:

Thanks to all the donations, with which the tournament finished with a big success.

In addition, Carolinas Chinese American Civic Center has set up a special student volunteer team for the Allegro Foundation, and the volunteer team is ready to provide a full service for the Allegro Foundation’s disabled children during this summer vacation and beyond. Carolinas Chinese American Civil Center made further efforts for benefits Allegro Foundation, and it will become the sole beneficiary of the Asian Day Dragon Boat Race next year.

Award Winners and Sponsors

From the president of Carolinas Chinese American Civic Center, Wang Qing, to the volunteers, all worked hard and they made the golf tournament a complete success. The tournament not only provided financial assistance for disabled children, but also spread the messages of disabled children who are in need of help, calling for  more caring people to provide them with help. Let us look forward to more organizations and individuals to participate in golf charity activities next year and help disabled children and make Charlotte a more beautiful city with more beautiful hearts.
